Description:
A description of the Cadarache research center is presented. This facility was designed to study the manufacture of Pu fuel prototypes. The present program at the facility includes fabrication of fuel for RAPSODIE and production of Pu-- (J alloy slugs for the critical experiments AQUILON and MARIUS. Information is included concerning use of Pu in thermal and fast reactors. (J.R.D.)
