Anisotropy of conduction electrons in n-InSb and extrinsic and intrinsic properties of HgCdTe

Description: The anistropy of the orbital and spin properties of conduction electrons in InSb has been measured simultaneously using a cyclotron-resonance type experiment. This represents the first time that the anistropy of effective mass in InSb has been directly measured using an optical method.

Approximating soil loss calculations with satellite data and multivariate regression analyses

Description: Digital satellite remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have been used effectively to determine the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) output for a number of North Texas watersheds. This method involves determining the values of each of the USLE factors and using these factors as information layers within the GIS.

Assessment of knowledge acquired in an employability skills training program

Description: This investigation was concerned with assessing the knowledge acquired in an employability skills training program. The method for determination of the knowledge was presented as subjects' responses to the Employability Inventory (EI). As an antecedent to this, the EI was subjected to validation procedures.
