VI. Please give the Marcus Fellows some personal comments. Can you make
suggestions to add to the future success of their teaching experiences?
General comments to all the Fellows:
* Thank you! This has been a wonderful experience. I applaud you for all your
work and guidance. I think this institute should be done as a staff development for
whole schools. Thanks again.
* Wonderful activities, but again, a little extra time is needed to help us focus and
explore art.
* This was so well-planned, useful, unintimidating -- I think they all did a marvelous
job.
* You all did a great job. The activities were creative, well-planned and
demonstrated, and could all be adapted to use with my class. You were all so
willing to share and help -- it was refreshing -- so unlike DISD staff development
or training. I feel that I grew and learned as well as feeling that I have a whole
"bag of tricks" ready to use with my class and art works. Thank you and good
luck to all of you!
* You all offered us such a variety of information and ideas with your varied life-
experiences and personalities. I appreciated the team-work and personal
enthusiasm each member offered. Thanks!

* Background knowledge was very helpful to me in my explorations. Guided us to
see exactly how activities could be useful with our students.
* You put me so much at ease, I was not hesitant to express myself. Thanks!
* Very comfortable teaching style and good at talking about the artworks -- I could
tell you've done this before -- good questioning strategies.
* What a bright spot. You could teach anything and make it fun.
* Worked well with adults in group, but didn't seem to relate activities to the
elementary classroom.
* Very personable; easy to talk to, knowledgeable and helpful, know the art
museum.
* Very helpful and knowledgeable.

* Your spontaneous manner helps others be free with ideas.
* Shares classroom experiences well and good sense of organization. Knows lots of
stuff and shares.
* You have such super energy. That spreads enthusiasm to others.
* Relates well to elementary school teacher. Her confidence level was great.
* Knowledgeable, helpful, good role model.
* Very helpful and knowledgeable.

* Personality made me feel comfortable about sharing. Would love to work with
