The Central Ohio Chapter met
October 27 for its fall meeting at
Bethel Presbyterian Church in
Columbus, where members and guests
heard a talk about the works of C. S.
Lewis by John Watson, a Lewis
scholar and the minister at Bethel, in
the morning. A roundtable discussion
followed the business meeting, a
report on the national conference and#7, Bloomfield Hills, Ml 48304;
lunch, led by Mary Scott, a chapter
past president and librarian at Ohio
State University and Worthington
United Methodist. Topics included
how to grow a library, getting started,
financing, promotion, and enlisting
the cooperation of clergy.

20 members and guests toured the
main downtown Toledo-Lucas County
Public Library, which had a new
parking garage, a building addition
and a remodeling job, all rolled into a
huge "new look," said Chapter
President Anne Basile. "Exciting and
