Sandia Corporation's interest in this field is somewhat different than that of the average company represented at this meeting. In this field of piezoelectric ceramics, there are certain materials or processing "trade secrets" held by the producers. In addition, due to the state of the knowledge of many variables affecting performance of the ceramics under their application conditions, we recognize the necessity of currently defining Sandia procurement by specifications that lack much of what we call "complete manufacturing information."
