- Evening ensemble of ivory douppioni silk. A) Evening jacket. Long, fitted. Nehru style collar; long sleeves. Jacket is heavily trimmed in floral and leaf motif embroideries of braid, beading, and thread covering front bodice to waist, over shoulders to center back, pockets, hem, and cuffs. Center front closure of seven hook & eyes. Lined in ivory synthetic; shoulder pads. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Victor Costa" Union label beneath designer label. Long sleeves of net and sequins matching dress with slit at cuff which closes with a snap. Center back closure of hook & eye at neckline and above zipper at upper back. B) Sweetheart style slip of black nylon with beige spaghetti straps. Dropped waist. Center back zipper.
