The clinical economics of nutrition support services and antibiotic medications for the critically and terminally ill elderly

Description: This report reviews the techniques that are available for assessing the economic impact of medical care intervention, provided a critical review of the studies that have examined the financial consequences of the use of nutrition support services and antibiotic medication. It also describes how their economic impact may vary from different points of view, and proposes the need for further studies and suggests policy implementation of the available data.
