She was going to write back sooner but did not have any paper. She is doing well and hasn't visited her mother in a week. She feels bad that Sissie has a sore hand and that Bettie has the chills again. They have had warm weather and it is raining. She has a lot of beans and cucumbers that they have been eating for the last 5 weeks. She also has a lot of apples. She is waiting for tomatoes and rosemary to ripen. Tobe cut his fingers on the blade when grinding. Willie and Sissie are going to Sunday school where they memorize verses. She got a new dress and shirt. She sends love and asks them to write back soon.
