sixteen were members of family groups having two children
each, four belonged to families with three children each,
and two belonged to families having four or mere children.
Five of the girls had fathers who had received two
years of high school training. Of this number, four were the
only children, in their family groups, whereaa one belonged
to a family having four or more children. There were no
representatives of the two- and three-children family
units.
The fathers of nine of the girls had had one year of
high school work. Two of these girls were members of
families in which there were two children, four belonged
to family units having three children, and three were mem-
bers of families with four or more children.
Of the thirty-six girls whose fathers had had no high
school training, seventeen belonged to two-children fami-
lies, ten to three-children families, and nine to families
having four or more children.
Forty-five of the girls had fathers who had had varied
educational experiences, but which were unknown to the in-
vestigator. Of this number of girls, four were the only
children in their families, thirty-one were members of two-
children families, seven belonged to families having three
children, and three belonged to families with four or more
children.
