truly blessed and highly favored.
I owe my deepest gratitude to Dr. Bullock, the chairperson of my committee for his
dedication, patience, valuable advice, and mentorship. I would also like to sincerely thank my
committee, Dr. Evenson, and Dr. Kinnison for their guidance, wisdom, and scholarly expertise. I
am grateful to Dr. Combes for her continued support and Dr. Estes for giving the opportunity to
gain valuable experience working with her. To Jeanie and Fred, my sincere thanks for technical
