o A083 - The JAST determined this is not a joint basing scenario idea; rather it is for
information and coordination only. Therefore, the status now reflects CLOSED.
o N017 - USAF added: status now reflects Army/USAF/Navy.
* The JAST members reviewed the Services' corresponding OSD# (reflected in the ISG
Scenario Tracking Tool). They agreed to review the ISG Tracking Tool and provide an
update at the next JAST meeting.
* The Army representative requested the Navy to provide its "go/no-go" decisions on the
JAST scenario ideas as soon as possible in order for the Army to be able to provide
accurate Integration of Army Recommendations to the Army's Senior Review Group
(SRG). The Army representative will provide the Navy a specific (NLT) date the
information is required.
Other Issues
* The JAST members discussed the need to determine how to document and record the
results of all JAST scenario ideas. They will discuss the topic at a future meeting.
Decisions:
* The JAST members will update their BRAC Directors on status of scenarios and issues
discussed.
* The JAST members will review their MILDEPs' OSD# in the ISG Tracking Tool and
provide an update to their counterparts.
* The Army representative will provide Navy a suspense (NLT) date the Army needs to
know the Navy's "go/no-go" decisions.
Recommendations;
1. The JAST members provide feedback to their BRAC Directors and update at the next JAST
meeting.
2. The JAST meet Monday, 10 January 2005.
