Registration Procedures1 Enter Entrance C of the Coliseum. Secure and complete
registration packet. Fill out completely all cards and data
sheet except schedule of classes on yellow-topped card.
2. Have English and P.E. requirements checked. (Applica-
ble to undergraduates only.)
3. After clearing all checkpoints in the concourse area,
enter Coliseum arena to begin registration.
4 Schedule courses with departmental representatives.5. Receive final OK, have fees assessed and pay fees.
6. Pick up I.D. card.
7. Turn in registration packet.
8. Registration is now complete.
9. It is recommended that you wait to buy textbooks until
you have met classes for the first time, so you will be
sure of course numbers and book titles required by your
professors.Senior Registration
NTSU offers early registration for students who are classi-
fied as seniors. To qualify for this special registration, a
senior must have his Fall 1975 grade report which indicates
his senior classification as determined by the Computing
Center. Seniors will line up at Entrance C of the Coliseum,
marked "Continuing Students," at the appointed time.
New transfer seniors and former seniors (those not en-rolled Fall 1975) may also register by the senior schedule,
if they have had their permit to register or their temporary
permit to register stamped by the Office of Admissions to
indicate their senior status. These seniors will report to the
"new and former" admissions door at Entrance C of the
Coliseum at their appointed time.Late Registration
Students who are unable to register on January 8, 9, or 10
rnay register from January 12 through noon on January 19
by paying late registration fees of $5 for first day, $7.50 for
second day, $10 for third day, $12.50 for fourth day and
S15 for fifth and sixth days of late registration. Please fol-
low outlined procedures for late registration.
1 Hick up registration packet at the designated window of
the Registrar's Office.
Prepare trial schedule and complete all information on
data sheet and registration cards. Leave class schedule
blank on yellow-top card.
3 Proceed to the office listed below for your late registra-
tion class card for each class. This applies to both under-
graduates and graduates. (See departmental course
usting in this schedule for office locations.)Arts and Sciences all classes will pick up class cards in
offices of individual department chairman.
Business Administration-all classes will be secured from
dean's office.
education-all education classes will be picked up in the
dean's office; industrial arts, physical education and
home economics will be distributed from their depart-
mental offices.
Music-all classes will be picked up from the dean's of-
fice.
4. Return to the Final OK window of the Registrar's Office
for approval.
5. Proceed to Business Office to pay fees and turn in regis-
tration packet.Evening Registration
All students are strongly encouraged to register on one of
the three days set aside for registration January 8, 9 and
10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As a service to evening students,
the Admissions Office and the Business Office will remain
open until 7 p.m. on January 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Students taking evening courses may register on the
evening when class meets for the first time. If a student
chooses to register in the evening rather than during thethree-day registration period, he will be considered a late
registrant and will be subject to late registration fees cited
above.
Registration at the first class meeting is not available for
students taking off-campus courses. If the student misses
both off-campus and regular registration times, he must
come to the Denton campus to register for class.Iv
