Notes

E-mail from donor's daughter, Harriet Peavy, October 2019: I finally unearthed some info on my Lily Wolfe dress. It was made for my wearing in the 1958 Maifest in May in Brenham, Texas That year the senior court was The Court of Jewels. Those from out of town that were in it were deemed the Jewels of Friendship. I had no other designation than that. I think the only instructions that was given to my mother was that I be dressed in a yellow formal dress.
