the right to attend all of our meetings, to serve as officers if elected by the membership,
to serve on one or more committees if selected by members, and to participate in all of
our activities.
3.03 Voting Rights. Each voting member shall be entitled to one vote on each matter
submitted to a vote at a regular or special meeting of the members.
3.04 Termination of Membership. The membership, by affirmative vote of a majority of
the Voting Members at a regular or special meeting of the members, may expel a member
for cause.
3.05 Resignation. Any member may resign by filing a written resignation with the
Secretary and the resignation shall become effective immediately upon receipt by the
Secretary.
3.06 Reinstatement. A former member who has resigned may reinstate his or her
membership by filing an application for membership with the Secretary and his or her
reinstatement shall become effective immediately upon receipt by the Secretary. A
reinstatement of his or her reinstatement shall become effective immediately upon receipt
by the Secretary. A member who has been expelled and who files an application for
reinstatement of his or her membership with the Secretary may be reinstated by the
affirmative vote of a majority of the Voting Members at a regular or special meeting of
the members.
3.07 Transfer of membership. Our memberships are not transferable or assignable.
ARTICLE 4-MEETINGS OF MEMBERS
4.01. Annual Meeting. A meeting of the members shall be held on the morning or
afternoon before each biennial convention convenes in even numbered years beginning in
2000 for the purpose of electing officers and for the transaction of other business as my
come before the meeting.
4.02. Special Meetings. Special meetings of the members may be called by one of the
Co-Chairs and no less than one-tenth of the members having voting rights. One of the
Co-Chairs must within one month of the biennial meeting declare to all the members the
correct number of members eligible to vote.
4.03 Place of Meeting. One of the Co-Chairs, either in agreement with the other or with
at least one other officer may designate any place as the place of meeting for any annual
meeting or for any special meeting and shall notify the members in each Notice of
Meeting, but if a majority of the Voting members meet at any time and place and consent
to the holding of a meeting, such meeting shall be valid with call or notice, and at that
