RECOMMENDATIONS BY MEMBERS OF THE NORTH TEXAS
INDUSTRIAL ARTS ASSOCIATION CONCERNING
REQUIREMENTS FOR A BACCALAUREATE
DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL ARTS
The primary purpose of this chapter is to present the
number of semester hours recommended by the members of the
North Texas Industrial Arts Association for a major in
industrial arts in each of the subject areas. These data
were obtained through a questionnaire sent to 144 members of
the North Texas Industrial Arts Association. Of the members
contacted, 126 responded to the questionnaire. (See
Appendix•)
In addition, data concerning the degrees earned by the
members of the North Texas Industrial Arts Association and a
summary of the average number of semester hours completed by
the members in each of the various subject areas of indus-
trial arts will be discussed.
