Description

Past work of the US Geodynamics Committee (USGC) is summarized. The USGC devoted considerable discussion at its November 1976, meeting to preparation of an up-to-date statement of the USGC actions developed by USGC reporters. That discussion ultimately led to a number of statements and recommendations, given here.
