The purpose of this study is to give the results of a science experiment in an elementary grade in raising silkworms. The purpose of the experiment was not to learn the laws and principles of science, but to determine whether the life cycle of the silkworm would create a greater interest in the field of science.
The purpose of this study is to make an evaluation of Gainesville Junior High School to determine the extent to which it meets criteria for this type of school. The different phases of the school evaluated were: plant and equipment, library, course of study, techniques of teaching, and extra-curricular activities.
The problem in this study is twofold. First, there will be an attempt to determine the values that organizations in the secondary school have for the development of its students. Second, a survey will be made of the four-year accredited high schools in District Five of Texas to determine how and to what extent they are realizing their responsibilities in this respect.

To show by comparison how well the Gainesville elementary schools comply in a modern philosophy and a modern psychology of education. 3. To make recommendations for changes that could be made for the improvement of the Gainesville elementary school system.
The problem of this investigation was to survey the noon-meal vegetable consumption of 248 elementary-school children in the J. M. Lindsay School, Gainesville, Texas, for a period of ten days, and to compile lists of the vegetables which the children indicated that they liked or disliked.
