Senior Art Major
Displays Four
Years of WorkTwo visitors at a senior art exhibit look through
a book of house plans. The art exhibit is one ofThe Gallery in the Art Building is a very
crucial room, because once every semester
several senior art majors display four years
of college work there. Their graduation de-
pends on it.
First step, after making application to ex-
hibit, is a conference with a major adviser in
one of seven fields: interior design, art edu-
cation, costume design, drawing and paint-
ing, crafts, advertising art and medical art.
(The department has a pre-architecture
major, but students transfer to another
school to complete their work before they
become seniors.)
Then come the final anxious weeks of the
semester, when exhibitors set up faculty-
approved work for a week's scrutiny. Seven
- fewer than usual - tried it last fall.the several of the year that is required of seniors.
