Corrosion Embrittlement of Duralumin. V: Results of Weather-Exposure Tests

Description: In a series of weather exposure tests of sheet duralumin, upon which accelerated corrosion tests in the laboratory by the wet-and-dry corrosion method in a sodium chloride solution has already been carried out, a close parallelism between the results of the two kinds of tests was found to exist. Effect of Intake Pipe on the Volumetric Efficiency of an Internal Combustion Engine

Description: " The writer discusses the phenomena of expansion and compression which alternately take place in the cylinders of four-stroke engines during the induction process at a high mean piston speed due to the inertia and elasticity of the mixture in the intake pipe.
