Incumbent Paul Fielding and Lori Palmer, executive director of the North Texas Food Bank, are also highlighted. The race ended in a run-off between Fielding and Palmer, with Lori Palmer winning in a 58%-42% run-off upset. Video housed on Bill Nelson's Dallas City Council Election 1985 DVD.
