Description: This research project sought to holistically understand how educators in Texas understand educational policies that impact LGBT students, their practices, and interventions in the classroom. The project looks at two policies: anti-bullying and sexual education policies, and provides evidence that they are intrinsically linked through the discourse surrounding LGBT issues in Texas schools.

Description: This study was conducted to understand the motivations that drive participants to join user experience (UX) research studies at Red Hat (software company). Mixed methods of qualitative and quantitative nature were used to gather data and determine key insights that were supported by multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks. Description: In this thesis, I explore strategies used by the local timber industry to influence forest policy on the Black Hills National Forest. The Culture of Giving at Blue Ridge Literacy: Who Donates and Why?

Description: As a nonprofit located in a nonprofit-dense region in Roanoke, Virginia, Blue Ridge Literacy is among many other organizations competing for similar funding. This qualitative research project explores the reasons why donors give, why they support Blue Ridge Literacy, and what they think their future priorities for giving might be. Memories in the Body: Looking at the Connection between Emotional Stress and Autoimmune Diseases

Description: Autoimmunity is a modern age medical dilemma which is inextricably linked with emotional stress.
