Evaluating and testing thermographic phosphors for turbine-engine temperature measurements

Description: A technique developed earlier for measuring the temperature of inaccessible surfaces in low-temperature rotating machines is being adapted to measure the temperature of surfaces at the higher temperatures and in the erosive environment inside operating turbine engines.
