Volume-corrected isomer shifts on transition metal atoms: charge flow and electronegativity scales in alloys

Description: It is shown that once volume effects are suitably accounted for, the isomer shifts of /sup 57/Fe, /sup 99/Ru, /sup 181/Ta, /sup 193/Ir, /sup 195/Pt, and /sup 197/Au display common behavior. 9 references. (JFP)

Helium generation in fusion reactor materials. Technical progress report, October 1976--March 1977

Description: The immediate objectives of this program are to measure the spectrum-integrated helium generation rates and cross sections of several materials in the available high intensity neutron sources, and to develop neutron dosimetry procedures using some of these materials.
