Description: This document defines the design requirements for the Exhaust Duct System (EDS) of the NERVA Altitude Simulation System (NASS) as installed in Engine Test Stand -1 (EST-1) at the Nuclear Rocket Development Station (NRDS), Jackass Flats, Nevada. The relationship of this document to the ETS-1 Modification Program for the NERVA engine is described in "ETS-1 Design Criteria".
