Measurement of the decay UPSILON(2S). -->. pi. /sup 0/. pi. /sup 0/UPSILON(1S)

Description: The hadronic transitions UPSILON(2S) ..-->.. ..pi../sup 0/..pi..UPSILON(1S) ..-->.. ..gamma gamma gamma gamma..l/sup +/l/sup -/ (l = ..mu.. or e) are investigated using the Crystal Ball detector. The analysis is based on 193,000 UPSILON(2S) events produced at the DORIS II e/sup +/e/sup -/ storage ring from November 1982 to February 1984. Recent results on D decays and lepton, photon, (and hadron) production of charm

Description: After a brief introduction to the experiments with results included in this review, we will discuss, in turn, production of psi and psi', production of open charm in lepton and photon beams, D decays, and give a brief token mention of recent hadroproduction results. Summary of physics from measurements with longitudinally polarized beams and targets at ZGS energies

Description: An extensive amount of data were obtained from measurements of proton-proton elastic scattering from 1 to 12 GeV/c using longitudinally polarized beams and targets. Physics learned from these data as well as other related experimental results is summarized. The topics include structures observed in nucleon-nucleon scattering at lower energies and dinucleon resonances, pp scattering-amplitude measurements at 6 GeV/c, and lerge p/sub perpendicular/ results in pp elastic scattering.
