Bell Pole CROW pilot test results and evaluation

Description: Beginning in 1990, efforts were initiated to implement an in situ remediation project to address the creosote and pentachlorophenol (PCP) contaminated surficial aquifer at the Bell Lumber and Pole Company (Bell Pole) Site. Description: The concentration of hydroaromatics in a coal liquefaction solvent is regarded as a significant factor in the determination of solvent quality. An analytical method is described based on catalytic solvent dehydrogenation (CSD) for the measurement of transferable hydrogen, including hydroaromatic sources, in a solvent.
