Oral History Interview with John Lowe, Jr., August 7, 1978

Description: Interview with John Lowe Jr., a Navy WWII veteran from Dallas, Texas. Lowe discusses his experiences aboard the USS Neosho during the attack on Pearl Harbor, including training through the V-6 Naval Reserve Program, assignment to the Neosho, life and work aboard the ship, encountering possible Japanese submarines before the attack, being wounded during the attack and evacuated, recovery, and service afterwards.
