Radiologic aspects associated with the ground disposal of K Reactor effluent
Description:
During normal operation the quantity of radionuclides present in K reactor effluent, when diluted in the river, produce concentrations of radioactivity that are, on the average, a few percent of the limiting values of present government standards (I0CFR20). The radioactive concentrations in the effluent prior to dilution in the river are a few times the upper limit of the present government standards (10CFR20).
