Description: In recent years several techniques have become available to characterize the structure and chemical composition of surfaces of ceramic materials. Description: Microwave rotational spectrometry is a very selective analytical technique for polar gaseous compounds. For some selected molecules (e.g., HN/sub 3/, H/sub 2/CO, SO/sub 2/, etc.) concentrations as low as 100 ppB can be detected by continuously flowing the analyzed gas mixture through the absorption cell.
