Narrative by Junebug Clark in the summer of 2014:
Five gallon lard cans full of the extracted juice from the sorghum cane is loaded up and carted to the Stir-off site. It will be poured into metal vats and boiled down into molasses all the time being "stirred" and the impurities being siphoned "off"; eventually becoming the finest molasses one can imagine.
