Assembly Bill No. 32 CHAPTER 488

Description: California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. This bill would require Air Resources Board (ARB) to adopt a statewide greenhouse gas emissions limit equivalent to the statewide greenhouse gas emissions levels in 1990 to be achieved by 2020. Integrated Assessment of Hypoxia in the Northern Gulf of Mexico

This condition is caused by deforestation, river channelization, and the overuse of nitrogen in agricultural fertilizer.
