The proposal states that a Professional Development Center (PDC) be established in the Dallas Independent School District, and that the center will be a collaborative effort among DISD, University of North Texas, Texas Center for Education Technology, Project Bluebonnet, Educational Service Centers and representatives of the private sector. The centers' priority will be to establish schools to provide exemplary educational experience. Included in the proposal are the missions statement for the PDC, implementation strategies, research and so forth.
