2018 Texas Sentate Debate Twitter Dataset

Description: This dataset contains Twitter JSON data for Tweets related to the United States Senate race between Beto O'Rourke and Ted Cruz. This dataset contains Tweets captured around their first debate on September 21, 2018. This dataset was created using the twarc (https://github.com/edsu/twarc) package that makes use of Twitter's search API. A total of 3,006,198 Tweets and 101,050 media files make up the combined dataset.

The Biogeographic Distribution of Caddisflies (Insecta: Trichoptera) within the South-Central United States

Description: Through the use of natural history records, published literature, and personal sampling (2011-2016) a total of 454 caddisfly species represented by 24 families and 93 genera were documented from the south-central United States. Two Hydroptilidae species were collected during the 2011-2016 collection efforts that are new to the region: Hydroptilia scheringi and Mayatrichia tuscaloosa. Effects of Deepwater Horizon Crude Oil on Visual Function in Teleost Fishes

Description: The Deepwater Horizon oil spill released millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, impacting economically and ecologically important fishes.
