Display Note: Description from donor: Documentation of the UNT Texas Fashion Collection exhibition "Promenade of Style: The Caralee Biery Smith Collection," which featured the private collection of Caralee Biery Smith and was curated by TFC director Myra Walker. The exhibition featured twelve day and evening dresses from the 1830s to 1890s and showcased some of Smith’s most treasured items which she has collected over the past twenty-five years. The project was mounted at Fashion on Main, a gallery in the Universities Center at Dallas, from September 26 - December 19, 2008.
