Bad BRAC information?
Ret. Brig. General Fred Larson, former commander of
the 179th Airlift Wing of the Ohio National Guard, said the
Department of Defense based its decision to close the
179th as part of its Base Realignment and Closure process,
on faulty information.
Larson claims the following:Pentagon clalm
I No expansion room.
I Can't acquire more land.
* No hydraulic fuel hydrant.
I Not enough fuel storage.
I Personnel can be moved
from one unit to another.Larson rebuttal
