Temple Tour... Come early Friday
evening, July 19, to worship with mem-
bers and tour Denver's Temple Emanuel,
one of the largest temples in the city.
Librarian Katherine Artus will direct
tours of the library. Refreshments will
follow. Sign up for transportation to the
temple at the CSLA conference registra-
tion desk in the Executive Towel Hotel
lobby.

Theodore A. Borrillo, Esq., is enlivened
by books and theater and will speak at
the closing luncheon of the conference
Tuesday, July 23.
In 1993, Ted Borrillo was instrumen-
tal in organizing Friends of the Library,
a group which encourages the growth
and use of the Archbishop Vehr Theo-
logical Library in Denver. As a member
of Light of the World Parish, Borrillo
has been active in the
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Denver
for years. He has organized seminars for
the Catholic Lawyers' Guild of Colo-
rado, served on the Board of Catholic
Education and the board of trustees at
Saint Thomas Theological Seminary.
In private legal practice, he focuses on

The Metro Atlanta Chapter held an
Angelfest Luncheon in January, hosted
at the First United Methodist Church of
Tucker. Each participant brought a cov-
ered "angelic" dish with the recipe to
share. After lunch, members presented
angel displays, shared other"successes,"
and thanked the angels (workers) who
helped to make those successes. Each
participant left with a compilation of
recipes made into an "AngelFest Reci-
pes" booklet.family law and criminal law. He was adjunct professor of law at the
University of Denver and adjunct faculty at St. Thomas Theological
Seminary, teaching family law in the pastoral counseling program.
Prior to entering private practice in 1968, he served as Chief Deputy
District Attorney in Denver and Adams counties. He was admitted to the
New York bar in 1954 and Colorado bar in 1961.
He has an undergraduate degree from the City College of New York
and law degrees from St. John's and Harvard universities. He also
studied at the London Polytechnic School of Law.

Public Library, Ashton has overseen a
$91.6 million capital improvement
x ' renovation, expansion and new con-
struction of the library. He will talk
about the challenges of electronic in-
formation delivery and serving a di-
verse population. He is a graduate of
Harvard and Northwestern universi-
ties and the University of Chicago. He
has been city librarian since 1985. The
talk is at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21.

rado Springs to see the AirForce Acad-
emy, Garden of the Gods and lunch at
the Broadmoor Hotel; visit the Colo-
rado Springs Pioneer Museum or Van
Briggle Pottery Museum in Old Colo-
rado City. Cost $40; 30 people. Or take
amountaintourto historic Georgetown;
visit the Hotel de Paris Museum, the
Hamill House, home of early mining,
and ride the narrow gauge railroad.
Lunch, shop and return via Idaho
