To compare certification standards of Texas with those of the other southern states. 3. To develop a better understanding of the standards set by the Texas Education Agency for physical education. 4. The problem of this study is to determine the relationship that may exist among the variables of racial status, puberty status, anthropometric measurements, and physical fitness.
