The School Stage as a Laboratory for Teaching Certain Aspects of Color Theory

Description: It is the purpose of this study to present three units for the instruction of certain aspects of color by using the techniques of audio-visual education which utilize the school stage as a laboratory. The study demonstrates how a stage and its apparatus become an audio-visual tool that the teacher may not hope to duplicate in the classroom.

Study of Non-Traditional Resist Materials and Techniques for Pattern Dyeing

Description: Both the challenges and rewards of pattern dyeing motivated an examination of resist materials, the subject of this study. The first part of the problem was to investigate new materials and those not previously used for dye resists.
