Pancho Villa and the Battle of Columbus: Frontiers in Digital Newspapers
This poster discusses frontiers in digital newspapers. Since early 2011, the University of New Mexico and the University of North Texas have been engaged in a historical newspaper digitization project. The endeavor is part of the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP): a long-term project coordinated by the Library of Congress with the goal of digitizing 100,000 pages of historical newspapers from each of the 50 states and publishing them to the Web at Chronicling America.

The problem of this study was to find ways of improving and enriching the curriculum through the use of the intelligence quotients obtained from the California Test of Mental Maturity. The purpose of this investigation was first, to make a histological and cytological study of the testis of male frogs, Rana pipiens, and to determine if there were tissue or cellular changes as well as physiological effects caused by fish pituitary-extract injections. Second, to determine if injections of fish pituitary extract into immature female white mice caused histological changes in the ovaries and uteri.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether a unit on child development, planned cooperatively by the teacher and pupils, is effective in changing the attitudes of junior high school girls toward younger children.
