Abstract: This research comes as a by-product of the research agreement UNT-UAEMEX5 aiming to explain the relationship between intimate Domestic Violence and Parental Stress in Mexican women through the application of scales, Tactics Conflict Scale and Parental Stress Scale to 319 mothers or female caregivers of children within the first three years of primary public education in the State of Mexico. It was found positively correlated Domestic Violence and Parental Stress significantly between factors of each scale (p < 0.01 y p < 0.00). The 89.34% of the participants reported having experienced at least one
episode of Dating Violence and moderately low scores of Parental Stress.

Resumen: Esta investigación surge como sub-producto del convenio de investigación UNTUAEMéx4; con el objetivo de explicar la relación que existe entre la violencia de pareja y el estrés parental en mujeres mexicanas a través de las escalas: Escala de Tácticas de conflicto y Escala de estrés parental a 319 madres o mujeres encargadas del cuidado de los niños(as) dentro de los tres primeros años de primaria en educación pública del Estado de México. Se encontró positivamente correlacionada la Violencia de Pareja y el Estrés Parental de manera significativa en todos los factores de ambas escalas (p < 0.01 y p < 0.00). El 89.34% de las participantes reportó haber sufrido al menos un episodio de Violencia de Pareja e índices moderadamente bajos de Estrés Parental.
