Centerback closure with six buttons neck to hip; one hidden covered snap at neck and two at waist. Bust area yoke lining in blue silk. bust-to-hip lining at sides and back in blue chiffon. Description: Black velvet and net cocktail dress with belt. (a) Dress: fitted black velvet bodice with scoop neckline. Sleeveless with centerfront closure and zippered side closure. Front closure decorated with two bound buttonholes and two faceted jet buttons centered with a faux diamond. Double half-round overskirts of dotted black tulle. The outer layer has circular velvet ring appliques and a horsehair hem. Overlapping appliques disguise the side snap openings. Fitted knee-length black velvet underskirt. Retelling of the Pear Story: Gopendro

In the video, a young boy steals a basket of pears from a farmer, then shares the stolen pears with three boys. This is a recording of Gopendro’s retelling of the Pear Story.
