Specific Gravity Separation Applied to the Analysis of Mining Explosives

Description: Report on investigations by the United States Bureau of Mines to determine what explosives can be used with least danger and greatest efficiency in mining operations. A summary of the history of the use of liquids in gravity separations is presented, followed by method of procedure, apparatus used, and a discussion of experiments with pure salts, mixtures of salts, and experiments with two explosives.
