Description: During the summer of 1975, the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys (DGGS) conducted a 6-week reconnaissance in widespread areas of Alaska as part of the National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) program sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE).
