Ground Water Test Well A, Nevada Test Site, Nye County, Nevada: A Summary of Lithologic Data, Aquifer

Description: Abstract: "ground-water test well A was drilled to a depth of 1,870 feet with rotary and cable-tool equipment. Only alluvial materials were penetrated. These were saturated below 1,605 feet. Pumping and bailing tests indicate that the minimum transmissibility of the alluvium is about 800 gallons per day per foot.
