Aerodynamic Data for a Wing Section of the Republic XF-12 Airplane Equipped With a Double Slotted Flap

Description: Report presenting an investigation in the two-dimensional low-turbulence tunnels for the purpose of developing an optimum flap configuration for maximum lift on an airfoil section for the Republic XF-12 airplane equipped with a double slotted flap. Lift and flap loads were obtained at several flap deflections for two flap paths. Results regarding lift, drag, and flap loads are provided.

Description: Alpine hat of dark green felt hat. Brim slightly turned up. Hatband of lighter green yarn with feather brush on one side with metal bird on handle. One metal hat pin with a stag and doe and a black and red emblem in top right corner. Unlined with leather inner headband. Labels inside crown: "Ludwig Zapf hutmacher Werfen" and "Lanz Salzburg".

Analytical procedure for determination of tuballoy in solid salvage residues

Description: From abstract: Test results indicate that the hydrofluorination method for the analysis of tuballoy in solid salvage residues yields sufficient results with a high degree of accuracy; while a modification of the procedure gives good results in approximately half the time.
