Description: From abstract: This abbreviated data report presents results of ground water and stream/surface sediment reconnaissance in the National Topographic Map Series (NTMS) San Bernardino 10 x 2 quadrangle. Surface sediment samples were collected at 1539 sites, at a target sampling density of one site per 13 square kilometers (five square miles). USAEC Airborne Radiometric Reconnaissance in Arizona, California, Nevada and New Mexico, 1953 to 1956

Description: From introduction: This is one of a series of three reports on airborne radioactivity surveys in the United States. The reports contain the 185 airborne anomaly maps issued by the U. S. Atomic Energy Commission as a result of the AEC's aerial surveying program conducted from March 1952 to June 1956; two ground reconnaissance maps of Utah also are included. Most of the reconnaissance was done in the western United States.
