Large-Volume Liquid Scintillators and Their Applications

Description: One of the most important factors in determining the feasibility of a cosmic ray experiment is the expected counting rate. We feel that in some cases the gain in counting rate from the use of a large scintillator will be great enough to make its construction worthwhile.

Interfacial Tension Measurement on A1(NO₃)₃ - H₂O - HNO₃ - Dibutyl Cellosolve System

Description: This report discusses two methods used for experimental determination of the interfacial tension of an immisible aqueous-organic system where the density of the organic phase is less than that of the aqueous phase.
