Carrier photodynamics in 2D perovskites with solution-processed silver and graphene contacts for bendable optoelectronics

Description: Article reporting on the inkjet printed, direct contact study of solution-processed, 2D perovskite-based photodetectors (PDs) formed on flexible PI substrates. Silver (Ag) and graphene (Gr) inks have been engineered to serve as efficient electrical contacts for solution-processed two-dimensional (2D) organo-halide (CH3(CH2)3NH3)2(CH3NH3)n−1PbnI3n+1 (n = 4) layered perovskites, where all inkjet-printed heterostructure PDs were fabricated on polyimide (PI) substrates.

3D printing and pressureless sintering of Li2TiO3 for next generation dielectric resonator antennas

Description: Article demonstrates the fabrication of high-performance lithium titanate (Li₂TiO₃) microwave RF ceramics using direct-write additive manufacturing, achieving densities up to 96.4% and dielectric properties comparable to conventionally manufactured equivalents. A self-powered wireless motion sensor based on a high-surface area reverse electrowetting-on-dielectric energy harvester

Description: Article presents a motion-sensing device with the capability of harvesting energy from low-frequency motion activities. Based on the high surface area reverse electrowetting-on-dielectric (REWOD) energy harvesting technique, mechanical modulation of the liquid generates an AC signal, which is modeled analytically and implemented in Matlab and COMSOL.

Load frequency control in Island micro-grid with electric vehicles and renewable energy sources using modified fractional order PID controller

Description: This article presents a modified fractional-order proportional-integral-differential (MFOPID) controller for load frequency control in an Island microgrid based on an electric vehicle (EV) and renewable energy source. It tackles the intermittent energy sources and the dynamic of the load change with reduced speed and the quality of response generated on the microgrid.
