The Shape of Relations to Come: Multidimensional Analysis of Complex Human Behavior

Description: This article conceptualizes verbal behavior as a multidimensional field of environmental relations, and introduce the use of multi-axial radar charts for its visual and quantitative analysis. The authors demonstrate the use of radar charts for calculating simple shape descriptors as a quantitative measure of dynamic interactants, and show how they can be used to measure change over time.

Selective CW Laser Synthesis of MoS2 and Mixture of MoS2 and MoO2 from (NH4)2MoS4 Film

Description: The authors of this article report the synthesis of MoS2 and MoS2 oxides from (NH4)2MoS4 film using a visible continuous-wave (CW) laser at 532 nm, instead of the infrared pulsed laser for the laser-directed thermolysis. This study can lead toward the CW laser-directed thermolysis of (NH4)2MoS4 film for the fast, non-vacuum, patternable, and wafer-scale synthesis of 2D MoS2.

High-spectral-resolution Observations of the Optical Filamentary Nebular Surrounding NGC 1275

Description: The authors present new high-spectral-resolution observations (R = λ/Δλ = 7000) of the filamentary nebula surrounding NGC 1275, the central galaxy of the Perseus cluster. The authors present renewed fluxes, velocities, and velocity dispersion maps that show in great detail the kinematics of the optical nebula at [S ii] λ6716, [S ii] λ6731, [N ii] λ6584, Hα (6563 Å), and [N ii] λ6548.
