Reservoir Characterization of Upper Devonian Gordon Sandstone, Jacksonburg Stringtown Oil Field, Northwestern West Virginia

Description: The Jacksonburg-Stringtown oil field contained an estimated 88,500,000 barrels of oil in place, of which approximately 20,000,000 barrels were produced during primary recovery operations. A gas injection project, initiated in 1934, and a pilot waterflood, begun in 1981, yielded additional production from limited portions of the field.
